G.L. (Les) Wiley, DVM
Denise is a New England transplant to New Mexico, being brought to the area by the military with her husband. Previously, she worked for Dr. Wiley as a Veterinary Technician. Now, after a few years in the U.K., she has returned to Alamogordo Animal Hospital to oversee the daily operations of the clinic. Her skills and knowledge expand across many fields, but she has a love for all things science and is happiest running labs with the microscope. Denise and her family share their home with a Golden Retriever named Finn, a Chihuahua named Toby, and a cat named Veronica.
Relocating from Oklahoma City, OK, Jessica joined Alamogordo Animal Hospital in 2017. She has been in the veterinary field as an assistant since 2013 and has worked with all kinds of animals from lizards to horses. Jessica loves science and has a passion for emergency medicine and anesthesia. She also loves bad jokes, coffee, and always has a positive perspective to offer. Jessica is currently in school to become a licensed veterinary technician and would like to pursue further learning in animal physical therapy shortly after. At home, Jessica and her family have two wonderful lapdogs: Loki the Alaskan Malamute and Juno the German Shepherd.
Minnie has been working at Alamogordo Animal Hospital since 2017. She previously was a part of a search and rescue team with Weimaraners and even operated her own rescue group. While she has a soft spot for Weimaraners, she truly has a love for all four-legged friends. Minnie joined the clinic so she can learn more about the animals she loves so much, this time from a medical perspective. In the clinic, she enjoys doing dental cleanings and has a goal to always learn more so she can be doing the best for her animals. Minnie also volunteers her time to the local shelters and rescues.
